Atrius Health

Atrius Health

Atrius Health, an innovative health care leader and the largest non-profit independent medical group in New England, delivers an effective system of connected care for more than 720,000 adult and pediatric patients in eastern and central Massachusetts. For 14 years, Atrius Health has relied on us to build national and local awareness for them as an organization on the cutting-edge of creating efficient, quality, patient-centered care. We are also charged with positioning Atrius Health executives as leading voices for health care and payment reform, both nationally and in Massachusetts.

Our Strategy

We have supported Atrius Health by producing a constant stream of media coverage promoting the organization’s successes, best practices and lessons learned as an Accountable Care Organization (ACO), and positioning President and CEO Dr. Steven Strongwater regionally and nationally as a thought leader on timely and important health care policy and industry issues.

Our Results

We have secured placement of Dr. Strongwater’s op-eds on topics such as decreasing hospital readmissions and preventing physician burnout in CommonWealth Magazine, the Boston Business Journal, NEJM Catalyst, and national health care publications including Health Leaders. Our work has also successfully raised the profiles of other members of the executive team through coverage in industry trade publications including Modern Healthcare, STAT, HealthLeaders, Becker’s, Health IT Analytics, and EHR Intelligence.

Collectively, the media coverage we have secured has reached millions of unique readers nationally and a targeted audience of health care administrators, finance executives, clinician leaders and clinicians – all of whom are key to the organization’s recruitment of physicians. This coverage has raised Atrius Health’s profile while highlighting the positive work the organization is doing to solve crucial health care issues.

Atrius Health is now viewed as a leading health care player sought after by other health care organizations for partnerships and collaborations. The organization has been recognized nationally for its high quality of community-based patient-centered care as one of the original CMS Pioneer Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and now as a Next Generation ACO after completing the five-year Pioneer model.
