HUBweek, Boston’s first innovation festival, is in full swing. Individuals and organizations driving innovation in Boston and Cambridge are celebrating and moving forward the big ideas that will define our region and world for years to come.

CBT takes a new spin on innovation and design this Friday with WorkBeat: A pop-up community at Atlantic Wharf that creates a new rhythm to your workday. Take a LEGO© break at the BSA space and show off your design skills with some of the city’s best architects. Enjoy a tour of Boston’s first LEED Platinum high-rise. Experience SOUND and pump up the beat at a Vinyasa Flow yoga class with Celebrity Trainer and Nike Sponsored Athlete Jacqui Mimno. Then fill up with a free burrito from Boloco while enjoying a live performance by Amy & The Engine.

CBT will also host brainstorming and breakout sessions that highlight the best of Boston. Whether you’re interested in building your personal brand or a lively public space through tactical urbanism, WorkBeat is an experience you won’t want to miss. (You can view the full schedule of free events at the WorkBeat website.)

WorkBeat also offers diverse array of work spaces. If you need a place to chill out after a day of networking or long meetings, the Zen Zone offers a space to collect your thoughts and regroup. Need a place to brainstorm and collaborate? The Focus Forest provides an ideal setup for outdoor meetings or a space to mingle.

We’re excited to get a glimpse of this new take on work/life balance. We hope to see you on Friday—tweet with us using the hashtag #WorkBeat!

WorkBeat takes place on Friday, October 9 from 10am to 4pm at Atlantic Wharf (290 Congress Street, Boston, MA). Visit CBT’s WorkBeat website for complete details.
