Since we provide professional services
to the non-profit sector as part of our business, we do not provide
pro-bono services. We have, however, negotiated four high profile
trade arrangements in our three major practice areas that provide
significant visibility and set us apart from our competitors while
providing high level access:

A first of its kind, the non-profit
organization MassChallenge connects entrepreneurs from across the
world with the resources they need to launch and succeed through
its Accelerator Program and Competition. In 2012, MassChallenge has
partnered with SM& to raise the visibility for its annual
competition in national, international and trade media.

SM& is the public relations
partner for the Massachusetts Chapter of NAIOP, the leading
commercial real estate organization in the country. This chapter
includes over 450 companies that own or manage office, retail,
residential, industrial, laboratory, mixed-use, and institutional
real estate property in the Commonwealth, as well as the
professions that serve the industry. SM& proudly provides
media relations, social media content and film to promote NAIOP
MA's industry events.

Since 2007, SM& has worked closely
with Building Impact, a non-profit organization that provides
volunteer opportunities to individuals and organizations in
residential and professional buildings, on a range of public
relations endeavors. Throughout the years, SM& has
provided strategic messaging, media relations and event support for
Building Impact programs. SM& CEO, Helene Solomon has
served on the board of Building Impact since 2007 and a number of
SM& employees have served as members of its Young Professionals
Committee.

For the past two years, SM& has
helped The Massachusetts Health Council (MHC), a non-profit,
non-partisan statewide organization committed to improving and
protecting the health of the residents of the Commonwealth, promote
their annual gala and its associated "Hospital Chef Challenge"
through pre- and post-event media relations and videos.

Every year since 2003 SM& has
partnered with Root Cause's Social Innovation Forum (SIF) to
provide six innovative social entrepreneurs vital public relations
and communications planning, strategy and tactics. SM& has
provided media relations, social media strategy, messaging and
branding for a range of social entrepreneurs.
