Alison Thompson, Vice President

Alison oversees the agency's corporate accounts, as well as its real estate services, which in the last four years has provided strategic communications services on nearly $3 billion of development in Greater Boston, including some of the largest projects in the Northeast. The practice is dedicated to every aspect of the development process, including permitting, design, construction, sales and leasing.

Alison is the team expert on planning and maximizing small and large-scale events, including numerous public events with top elected officials including Governor Deval Patrick. She plays an active role in the operations of the agency and is also responsible for leading the agency's professional development, mentoring and internship programs contributing to the growth of its staff and agency culture.

Prior to joining Solomon McCown, Alison was with Conventures Inc., a Boston-based marketing and special events firm, where she worked for a wide-range of public relations and event planning clients, where she planned and managed events and campaigns designed to garner the attention of key audiences. In addition to her agency work, Alison has written and edited for Connecticut Magazine.

She is a member of the Urban Land Institute where she serves as the Co-Chair of the Young Leaders Group, United States Figure Skating association, and the Professional Skaters Association. Alison received her bachelor of arts in Mass Communications and Computer Information Systems from Quinnipiac University and her masters of arts, Integrated Marketing Communications from Emerson College.
