SM& client Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Boston's Jewish
Federation, has become a "sophisticated financial operation." That
is, according to the Boston Globe. In a Business front piece in
today's edition, the paper reports how CJP long-term financial
success has proved a continual source of strength for the Jewish
community. "We would have been in big trouble without them," Jerry
Rubin, president of Jewish Vocational Services, told The Globe. "We
benefit from some of the savviest financial minds in the city,
which we never would be able to do on our own . . . During the
height of the recession, it was huge."
