Helene's commentary — and the backdrop of the SM& conference room — livened up the lead NBC Nightly News story on July 2nd.
Anne Thompson reported a "June swoon" with job growth "moving forward, but at a tepid pace." In this good news/bad news equation, SM& supplied the good news, reporting three new hires and plans to hire three more. "I'm totally surprised that we've been able to fill positions at the more senior level," Helene said.
