SM& PRESIDENT AND CEO HELENE SOLOMON PARTICIPATES IN AMERICAN UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION'S ALUMNI-STUDENT MENTORING PROGRAM

SM& President and CEO Helene Solomon has long had an interest in helping guide young people as they explore a future career in communications. She has co-taught a course at Boston University, where she received her bachelor's degree in communications, and she has established a strong, in-depth internship program at SM&. In this same spirit, Helene is delighted to give back to the institution where she earned her master's degree, the American University School of Communication.
This year, she will participate in the SOC Alumni-Student Mentoring Program, which unites the school's top juniors, seniors and graduate students with prominent successful alumni, following a competitive selection process to be accepted into the program. In the coming weeks, Helene is excited to be paired with a mentee for a four-month relationship.
