As a leader of SM& and the head of our crisis communications practice, an average day for Executive Vice President Ashley McCown can sometimes be a real knuckle-biter but watching her you would never even know it. It’s not only her grace, sound judgment, and ability to protect clients that have made her a success. We at SM& love her because her door is always open to guide staffers across the firm – with issues big or small Ashley is willing to help and motivate her colleagues to the next level.
While we’ve always known that about her, others see it too. In this month’s issue of Women’s Business, Ashley was named one of the region’s ten best bosses and it comes as no surprise to any of us.
