SM& Executive Vice President Ashley McCown participated in a PR News webinar with two other crisis experts on the value of public relations in a crisis situation.
The 90-minute workshop, held on Aug. 21, was designed to help better prepare organizations, PR teams and executives for any crisis.
Ashley shared tools and techniques that will help better manage a crisis, measure effectiveness of messages during a crisis, communicate with stakeholders and rebuild confidence among employees after a crisis.
Ashley was joined by Richard Levick, president of Levick Strategic Communications, and Jennifer Goodman Horowitz, assistant vice president of FD Dittus Communications. The discussion was moderated by Andy Church, vice president of marketing and product management of dna13.
