am.per.sand (n)
The American Heritage Dictionary defines ampersand as "the character or sign representing the word 'and'."
At Solomon McCown & Company, we have a different definition for the word. To us, Ampersand is "a fast-paced, cross-account meeting where we look at trends, account successes, breaking news, and pop culture; generate ideas; brainstorm solutions; and inspire each and every one of us to do the most creative, results-generating work possible for our clients."
Every member of the firm is invited to participate in this open exchange of ideas that engage and harness our collective insights and creativity and help us unearth novel ways to attack client goals. In this setting, the word "no" is strictly off limits. Everything is fair game as a source of inspiration and a jumping off point for greatness.
